New to the site. I looked up sun visor problems in the search and read about how to replace the visor and wiring. My drivers side visor keeps dropping. I've tried velcro but it doesn't hold up well at all. Other than wedging a popsicle stick beneath the visor and into the window molding does anybody have any other solutions or do I need to buy another visor?
Thanks....great site!

Gary

I had the Droopy visor thing.
Got the interior trim code off the Vehicle ID plate under the hood (inside of the left front fender).

Called V & S Auto Dismantlers (find em on the internet), asked for the visor. I think it was $65 or $85. I complained and they said "try the dealer for $280". So I paid.

Two days later it arrived.

Install was quick. A couple of sockets to remove the old visor. Some previous post suggested splicing the wires. But the visor I got came with a quick-connect.

I had to pry off the interior trim piece that runs along the top of the door frame to pull out the old wiring and install the new. Took maybe 20-25 minutes, including kibbitzing time with my 10 year old son.

I can recommend V&S - I have used them for 6 things so far, always fast, always accurate and attentive. They know what they are doing. Every part I have received from them has been good.

First of all - :00000732: Gary3960

I go along with Ampang's suggestion and would replace the droopy visor too as the darn thing is likely to droop down on you when you least expect it.

(And believe me - at my age I know what it feels like! :haha: :haha: ).

The airbag sticker was intact, yes!

V&S (internet salvage) is for people who don't like to get their loafers muddy by actually going to a salvage yard in person.
