Hi everybody, this is my first time 'posting' on here so go easy with me please... I am based in Lancaster, England and drive a 1998 C70 T5 GT, Metallic saffron in colour. I recently had some debris hit my front right hand side wing, causing a lot of damage and consequently, this needs to be replaced. Has anyone had to replace the wing/s on their C70 and if so, can you offer some guidance/advice, please???

You need to translate for us Yanks, My mum was a brit (was in the RAF in WWII) and no longer with us so I have no one to translate what a wing is. I know what a bonnet is but that is where it ends. I am guessing it is a fender.

Cheers

Hi, no problem with translation... The 'wings' of a brit' car are the two pieces of metal which are on both sides of the 'hood'... or bonnet, as we call it and go down to form the front wheel arches...
From looking at the car, it looks like the front bumper will have to come off first the the 'wing'.
In the UK, we have offside and nearside wings, (right and left), with nearside being closest to the 'sidewalk', as we drive on the left of course... However, for my transatlantic buddies, the one I am trying to remove would be the passenger side on a US car...
Thanks for getting in touch...

Alan
