Hello

I don't buy a new car every day LOL so I want to make a good choice.

I am trying to decide between:
2005 Cadillac STS V6
2005 Jaguar S-Type V6
2005 Volvo S80 2.5 turbo AWD

I very nearly bought the Cadillac last Friday... but then friends said "don't do it!" Then I got Nervous. Funny how the last people you talk to have a disproportionate opinion.

I am concerned about the 95 TSBs on the STS (versus 20 on the Jaguar and S80).

All 3 are from dealers and certified for 100k miles (they each have about 50k now). But a free repair doesn't help me make money. Reliability -- and not every week in the shop for a free repair -- is Very important to me.

I'd appreciate whatever input people care to provide and thank you in advance.

well, scratch the jag, it's just a ford mondeo with nicer clothes. apples and oranges on the volvo/caddy debate. is the caddy the 2.8 v6 or the 3.4 v6?

:) Hey, its your money and the only opinion that counts is yours....Read up on past Consumer Reports (Check the Library) there fairly unbiased...I realize there opinions also but believe both sides, good and bad are given and its certainly read by millions.....
