The right front headlight went out on my 2004 Volvo S80 AWD -- Xenon equipped......Volvo stated the bulb was 150.00 but it didn't end there.. I was informed I needed a resistor( Control Unit #30727202 ) to iluminate the bulb at approx 450.00 plus an additional 150 or so in labor to install it...I'm praying there is a reasonable alternative in aftermarket sourcing... has anyone here ever been presented with a 750.00 right side bulb/starter only replacement estimate ?? Does anyone know of an alternative ? Is there a resource for discount OEM parts ?

dont see why you would need the control module if you could just replace the bulb but here is a link where you can buy and all the components to your headlamp. Cheaper and do it yourself.
