Can anyone tell me the quick and easy way to tell if I have the 10v or 20v 2.5 engine ?

The cylinder head says DOHC, but, no indication of if it is 20v or 10v

Any help would be appreciated !

Hi mate - I imagine if it doesn't state DOHC 20V on the black spark plug cover, then it is a 10V engine (just says DOHC)

Hope this helps!

Neil.

No emblems?

Then, you can also use the VIN to confirm.

Check the engine type on the VIN, don't forget that at that age it's not unfeasable that the engine has been swapped.

Also where does the engine redline? (i believe the 20V units rev a little higher)
