I own a 99 S80 and the rubber insert in the motor mount on top of the engine keeps crumbling. It has crumbled 3 or 4 times in the past 2 years. What is making this happen?

try silicone instead. have you changed the bottom mounts yet? that might be what is causing the top to crumble.
