it seems that crutchfield are the only ones who carry the proper aftermarket adapter plate (as the one made by metra autoworks works only with the OEM radio for some odd reason.)

However, anyone here who has installed an aftermarket radio, do you know of anyone else, or the company that makes plates that adapt to modern head units?


Also, Any how-tos on installing the system? I have a harness, but it's for the two front speakers, any guides on splicing the wires for the rear speakers?

best bet for splicing, if your are not going to want to reurn to the original head unit is to use the crimp on bullet style connectors. work great, quick easy and safe behind the dash.

i know flebay has adapter plates on somewhere, thats where i got mine from before i custom made them :)
