Drives: Soon Volvo 850? BMW E36 325i
Status: OFFLINE

Hey, Just as Title says. I come from the BMW E36 world, and I need a car ASAP so I remember Volvo's. Did a quick search for one, and found one that's near perfect color combo for me (Black + Tan!) and an awesome price (At 850$ at a dealer!!)

I did some quick reading, and found out brake master cylinders are an item to check, Top engine mount, Thermostats (Same as E36's!!)

Of course it's a used car, but are these the only things to look out model specific or would there be more?

Also, what's the MPG? I assume since it's 5 cylinder around 22-25'ish?

Thanks!

All the answers you want are here in the dated posts.

Also please check out the "Things to checkout before buying..." thread in the General Non-Volvo Specific segment.

Thanks.

ABS Modules tend to go bad, can be remanufactured and not an expensive fix; Door hinges are prone to break, not hard to fix and don't have to be if you can stand the cracking sound each time you open the door. +1 on ampanbear's suggestion.
