Fuel Mileage
I am wondering what the fuel mileage your C70 it getting. I was quite surprised by mine getting 26.5 MPG when cruising at 65 MPH. It is a 1999, convertible, low pressure turbo, 91 octane and only mod is a K&N air filter. I think I am getting in the high teens around town but now will check this next tank full.

We have a 2007 C70, and if I am going a constant 65 mph, on a level freeway, I am seeing a tad over 30 mpg, maybe 31 or even 32, as indicated by the instantaneous fuel usage readout. This is with the roof up.

With the roof down, it still seems close to 30, maybe 29 and change. This is with 91 octane.

Around town it dips into the mid-to high teens, but we have a fair amount of hills, which don't help the around-town mpg.

Compared to the first-gen C70, I think the new model is somewhat more aerodynamic, but it also weighs a bit more. So I'd expect the new C70 to get somewhat better mileage on the highway, but somewhat worse around town.

What I haven't done yet is taken this car on a long trip, where I could see what it gets with a tankful of uninterrupted highway miles.

Just checked my around town mileage and it is 23.5 MPG

Hey, I've been wondering the same thing. I have a 2002 C70 convertible. I took it on a long trip (about 3 hours each way) which included both city and highway driving, and it got about 26.5 miles to the gallon. Around town I get around 21 mpg.

As I'm cruising along the thruway going around 74 mph the instantaneous mpg reading is around 28-30 mpg. This is all with 91 octane in the tank.
