Has anyone ever modified there seats to travel back further? I am a long legged person and would like for my seat to go further back. I am thinking about modifying the driver seat post or even moving the track. Any suggestions would be helpful.

On my 244 there is an extra hole at the front of the seat frame mount that would give you an extra inch or so of leg room - I don't know if there is a corresponding one at the back - but you could drill one.

I raised my drivers seat by putting a square steel spacer tube (50x50x340mm) between the seat tracks and the floor mounts and using four extra nuts and bolts to put it back together. I later welded in a cross brace to stiffen it. This is an easy job and does not require a great deal of precision

I could have shifted the screw holes in the top side backwards if I wanted more leg length and used a different section tube if I didn't want the extra height.

I don't really want to go any higher but I will certainly look for the holes your are describing. I am sure I will have to do some engineering on it but I will make it work.
