Saludos(Greetings):
I also have the message for transmission service urgent showing up for the last months, altough the car is running fine, except that once in a while (by episodes) it tends to stall while driving it, and all it takes is for me to stop the engine and start it up again. I was told it might be another sensor!!!! Any inside?

okay, let me get this straight, the message about urgent transmission service is showing up for months, and you keep driving? take it to the dealer. hopefully your tranny hasn't been messed up and need a new one.

You have a 2000 S80? SELL IT. You're lucky the transmission held together this long. My second one failed. I give up. Anything before 2004 has been a problem. Trade up before you waste any more of your hard earned money.

what happened with your car, did you get it fixed? what is the problem? I have a 1999 S-80 2.9 same problem you have described. like to know how you handle your issue. i have been taken advantage by the dealer too many times and don't want to bring the car in without knowing what is going on.

i hev 2000 volvo S80 and it had same problem too. when i took it for check computer wrote some errors, it was expansive to repair it i had no mone for that time but one day i replaces air filter and i sow cables under it on the gearbox end when i opened it some of them was enjured i repaird it and i have no problem any more but before that you must check if your oil in the gearbox is good or it is not very much in it or little. sorry for bad english im from Georgia ;)
