hello, i got a 98 v70 t5 2wd, My abs light comes on and off, i have noticed that light stays off when i start it in cold weather and after driving for a few miles it comes on and stays on, its like when it get to normal operating temp, light kicks in,

anyone has the same problem? thax in advance

Most likely your ABS module is going bad, which is common for cars in these year models. It is an easy removal and send off to a remanufacturer and then reinstall. You can get it done for about $100 USD.

hey thax guys, so abs modules acts up when it warms up and goes back to work when cold? where would be a good place to send it for a hundred bucks and how long does it ussually take?

I used BBA Remanufacturing and purchesed the rebuild off ebay. Took maybe 7-10 days from taking it off, mailing it to them, rebuild and send back to me. I would highly recommend their service.

thax again, i gonna pop the hood up and see what kinda damaged i can do pulling the module out, lol

you will need a special socket. E5. remove the fuse for the abs/trac. remove the housing for the airfilter unplug the sockets, then unscrew unit. if you use the company jks2 referred to, they will provide instructions for you.
