... hey guys!

I noticed some of us have not updated their entries in the Garage for sometime now.
As i understood it, the Garage section HERE, in THIS forum, is NOT meant only for performance modifications. Instead its for ANYTHING different that you've done to your vehicle/s. (This forum is not even meant for pure performance reasons anyway...There are many others for that, on the Net...)

As such, dont be shy to update the entries there, no matter how small you think the addition is.

It's just a way to share with the rest of the world what you've done to your rides. That's all.

So, take a photo of each mod you've done, and upload them for the rest of the world to share!

:)

Cheers, and PEACE!
:grouphug:

The site was moved to a new server last week. We are still waiting to hear what the deal is with the garage section.

Are the garages gone forever, or am I the only one unable to access them?

If you want to update any photos, why dont you upload then here or in any of the appropriate/related sections first, and later on, once the Garage is up and runnning again, we can just make a simple link to that.

Cheers.

So simple even I should have seen it.

Good point.

These are the upper and lower anti-torque mounts, and the right rear fog light undelete.

And now I wait like everyone else to update the mini-mods in my garage...

Not to get off topic, but did you replace both mounts at the same time. How hard was the lower mount to do?

Based on my previous experience, you'll need 2 jacks, to help with the unscrewing and screwing. Should be a nice DIY job.

I did them separately.

I was trying to hunt down a "clunk" when I put in the clutch, only to figure it's just how the six-speed behaves.

Each mount took less than ten minutes, and IPD supplied perfect instructions.

Neither mount has any torque on it when the engine is off.

T he only challenging aspect was using a hacksaw blade to get the upper mount out.

I wish I took some before pics, now that I think about it.....

If its already damaged, then you wont feel bad about sawing it out at all. Imagine if its still in good condition --> sawing it out would be an act of pure waste. The option would be to use the pusher-kit (something i have been trying to find for quite some time already). :)

I was lucky- the center of the mount nearly fell out after unbolting it.
