Whats this "carfax" you have in the US ? It keeps being mentioned when buying a used car and seems to be a history on how its been looked after . If it is, is it just linked to main dealerships or all garages ?

unfortunately it only works if the car is serviced at the dealer. if it was serviced by an outside source, you are flat out of luck. but all in all, it's pretty cool to see when the previous owner did their maintainance.
