Can anyone shed light on where my coolant is leaking from.
It is definitely coming from somewhere towards the rear of the engine block
on the right side (looking to front from rear). Is there a coolant hose
connection around there somewhere ?

Yeah. From the back of the engine is where the coolant hoses pass through the bulk head for the heater matrix. These tend to give way because of the engine vibration and sheer heat differentials. the rubber breaks down.

Most likely these hoses that need replacing.
