Simply put....
When I want to honk my horn I press the button, but to my suprise ...the rear wiper starts going...and no honk.


Where should I even BEGIN to look.

This is for either button left or right.

Most likely a short in the wiring within the steering column itself by the stalk controls.

interestingly what happens when you start the rear wiper with the stalk?

if i turn my steering wheel 1/8 turn to the left the horn honks fine....

if i do the rear wiper from the stalk it operates just fine....

I am really not all the surprised i have horn issues....i have to reach into the dash occasionally to touch the turn signal relay for my turn signals to work.....

then i would suspect 90% that there is more shorts in there somewhere, go investigating with a multimeter.
