I have a 740 GL 1990-91 and it has been a good car! I got all new fuel line, coil pump and all that other fuel business done a few months ago.

Now it's sputtering on occasion when I'm sitting still. I had a vac line replaced recently as well.
My mechanics have been checking the wires etc. but can't find the trouble. It didn't do it when I was there. It was stronger when the AC was on . It all of a sudden drops out like it is about the stall then pops back up and runs fine.
I have not had a tune up since I got the car (NOT in 1991) and I was going to take it in tomorrow to get that done for about 500.0o. I just wanted to ask here first.
I have also been seeing coolant under the FRONT of the car under the radiator and I have them check it. It only leaks occasionally when it's cooled off. They replaced a hose and tightened another and then a few days later I saw some again. They missed something or it's the radiator. BUT it's not overheating and I have a new water pump etc. as well.
PLEASE HELP!!! Any suggestions? I need my baby to hold out for about 1 more year. Longer if I'm lucky.

that quite possibly be the pump seals going. mine started to do that, then it properly went, luckily i keep an eye on all my gauges.

run the engine till its warm then look at the water pump whilst give it it a little on the throttle, you may see some dribble out and then be splashed by the fan .
