I talked to my local dealer (in the NE) and he said it is all but impossible to find an XC90 without the Versatility Package. That option adds a lot to the bottom line and my kids are too big now to fit back there anyway. Is this the case or is he feeding me a line?

look, they are out to make money. order it how you want. if he doesn't do it, get on the web and order one online. and then have them deliver it to you. or go pick it up where there is one. usually, if the dealer won't do it, it means he doesn't move that many cars and can only do it as is. they are in it to make money the more options, the more they make. it's your money, just walk away. either he'll find one like you want or lose the sale. easy!

7-seater is standard for V-8s and Sports. For 3.2, it's an option.
