I notice a lot of brake pad dust on the front wheels. Wondering if this is common with all of the 2002 vintage models or if this is unusual?!? Just turned 40K miles and going to replace anyway and wanted to know if there are ceramic pads available that folks 'in the know' would recommend (brand, vendor, etc). If aftermarket not recommended, does Volvo offer anything that doesn't shed as much dust? :unsure:

Evolve used to have carbon-ceramic pads, which I have now, and there is no brake dust. They still sell pads, but I don't know exactly what the material is. Hope that helps some...
