I have heard that if you take your radio out,put it in a plastic bag and put it in your freezer for 24 hrs it will no longer need a code to work. You have nothing to loose and just sometimes you can find the code on the side or back of the radio

make sure when you go and get it, that you don't grab the rump roast by mistake. they make lousy cassette decks. like weezy sugggested, sometimes it is listed on the sides. also, if you remove the top plate, it is listed on there also. good luck.

If your freezing method doesn't work (and why would it?) and you can't find it on the radio or in your owners manual (on a credit card sized card) then you can call a Volvo dealer with the VIN and they can get the code for you. Some dealers actually require you to come to the dealership with the car.
