Since my last post about the tranny seal, I have been looking on the web about the transmissions in these cars and service and support people have been recieving from the dealers.

Does anyone here have any experiences with the transmission in these cars. Mine has 77,000 miles on it and I am getting concered from what I am reading. Because I do not have $4000.00 to put a new one in.

I'm concerned too, mine has 105,000, 2001 S60 2.4t and when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd it hesitates and does a harsh shift, I've already changed the fluid and it did go away for about 200 miles, and now its back and 50% of the times it does shift very smooth so I'm ruling out a permanent damage, however maybe someone in this place knows something i don't that can help me! I do not want to buy a new tranny that's for sure!
