1999 V70 Awd Xc Runs Hot When Climbing Hills, Overheating V 70 XC

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 14-April 08 Member No.: 41,010 Location: USA Drives: 1999 V70 XC Status: OFFLINE	1999 V70 AWD XC runs great and slightly above midway on temp gauge - except when climbing hills on freeway, the temp rises just 2 notches below red on temp gauge. As soon as level ground reached, it comes down within 10-20 seconds. Antifreeze is clean and right level on overflow - not sure of ratio to water. Oil is new and full. Thanks
