I want to ask anyone who knows about 740 turbo, my sends out thick black smoke and loses power when turbo indicator goes up to yellow area. Generally when car is going up the hill or when accelarates.

Black smoke usually means that it is running rich.Check your turbo hoses good and make sure none are leaking or collapsing.
