Well I have had my 2008 XC70 for less than a week and already it has been in for repair only to have service department say "cannot duplicate problem". The problem is the SIRIUS radio! The radio will work fine but then without warning you shut off car come back (1) the pre-sets are all default to traffic channel (2) you spin through channels and the text indicator never shows current channel/artist even though you actually hear the channel you stopped on and the dial always starts back at channel one. (3) finally after driving around anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes slowly the indicator starts first showing channel then finally artists - you can program the pre-sets again and wait for the next failure. Turn off car the next time (or in the service department) and it is fine. Could of drives later sometimes all of a sudden get "acquiring signal..." and the stations and pre-sets are back to lost.

I like the car and would love the SIRIUS if I can only get the service department to replace something to fix it. So now I have to hope it fails within miles from Volvo dealer so I can quick have someone come out and witness the problem. Is this happening to anyone else?

Frustrating to spend over $40K on a car and have a few hundred dollars of radio diminish the new car experience! :(
