I have a 94, 960 wagon. When I try to take it out of park the shifter will not move. I have my foot on the break pedal, sometimes it will and sometimes it will not. It is just iritating enough but not too much that I have not tried to figure it out. Is this a common problem with this model? One good thing is that my teen aged drivers, yeah three of them, would rather use mom's car. Wait a minute maybe I don't want to fix this thing!!!

good one, have got to remind by brothers about that with their sons. seriously, are you parked on an incline or decline? if so, do you have the parking brake on before you shift into park and then shut off? if you are on level ground, check your tranny fluid, you might be low. good luck
