i own a '99 volvo s80 and my driver side widow has gotten stuck a couple time, and now when i put it down it doesn't go back up, i took out the door panel and diagnoesed the problem and found that the window regulator was not connected to the bracket on the window. there is a small square plastic part that connects to the regulator which slides into the bracket that is connected to the window. this square plastic park is broken and i need a part number for it so i can order it from the dealer. i tried to all the dealer and explain what the part is and they said "ah well your gonna hafta bring it in so i can take a look at it..." yea right, and then charge me a $90 diagnostic fee... so if some can help me out please... i'll put up some pics of it in a few days if i don't get any help. thanks.

I don't know the part number, but here is the diagram of the window unit...

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/ind...playCatalogid=0

Unfortunately it looks like that black plastic piece you reference might come with the regulator itself.

Interesting, that part number comes up as a different part on trademotion's website, that part number looks to be the window brackets.
