Hi all...I'm new to the group, and am a proud owner of a '01 V70 T5. It's good to see an active forum!

I am planning to change spark plugs in the very near future, and I wanted to get some opinions from the community. The owner's manual recommends Champion plugs, but my local autoparts store doesn't carry Champions. Anyone have good/bad experiences with other plugs with these motors?

For your car try to find Bosh Platnum plugs. The Volvo plugs are platnum plugs that come in the car.

Thanks Tech. It's strange, reading posts in a few other Volvo forums there are some that say you shouldn't use platinums, and some that say platinums work well. Going to IPD's website (http://ipdusa.com/ProductsCat.aspx?CategoryID=1448&NodeID=4546&RootID=629), they recommend Bosch platinums as the closest plug to factory replacements. I'll give the Bosch platinum's a try. Thanks again!
