I am new to the forum and just recently purchased a 2006 V50 2.4i with 73K. It appears to have a very mild shake at @ 20-30 mph when accelerating. At higher speeds like 50-70 it appears to be minimal if not non-existent. Do you think this is related strictly to the wheels - balancing/alignment (two brand new tires on front, two newer on rear - all the same brand (firestone)) or could there be a problem with drivetrain? The shake is not just in the steering wheel, it appears to be the whole car.....First-time Volvo owner, so i am just curious? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

welcome to the forum. congrats on the 50. yes, it does sound like the tires. who did the mounting? it might just be an alignment. have you had one done? go back to the mounter and have them redo it. then check with an alignment shop, unless the same mechanic can do both. keep us posted
