I stupidly banged my head into the sunroof of my 2001 Volvo V70 T5 over the weekend. When I opened and closed the sunroof to check and make sure I didn't hurt it, it sliced off one of the levels of the plastic accordion pieces on the side and that piece doesn't push back with the sunroof anymore. Is that an easy part to replace? If so, what is it called and where could I get one?

Any help would be much appreciated.

dude, how tall are you? or were you doing something......else? :) check with fcpgroton.com, usually they are sold in pairs. it's really to keep debris from falling into the tracks and onto your head. otherwise, you don't really need them.

I'm not tall at all -- I was reaching into the backseat to grab something!

Does that part have a name? I've been looking on parts sites and haven't been able to find them.

If I can't find it, if I remove it completely, it won't affect the sunroof's operation?

Thanks!
