We have recently been getting some noise from the blower motor. Apparently a plastic bag was sucked up into it. It's sort of intermittent. When fiddle with it from below sometimes it works for a while with no noise. Later its back to the whirring sound.
How do I get to the blower motor?

Thanks

Thanks for the response.

I had the glove box out the other day ( along with the bottom cover on that side) what I saw was more stuff ( wires, vents, assemblies) than you could shake a stick at. Couldn't see how that was anywhere near the fan.
Apparently when set on recirculate ( or I guess the opposite of that)there is quite a "vacuum" effect.

i think that once you get passed the wires, you will see a panel and when unscrewed, it will reveal the fan. cue music, aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. anyway, you should see three screws on the back behind the wiring. i might also be wrong about the number of screws, not like that has ever happened. keep us posted.

Try reaching up from the right side of the footwell below the glove box. There's a small vent with a vacuum powered door in that vent which leads to the blower unit. You will probably feel the bag and be able to just pull it out. Of course, don't do this with the blower running.
