Yes, me again.

I am desperate - but alas may need to post pone my trip to get to Volvo.

What about pulling main fuses and re-inserting? Does this reset everything?

disconnecting the battery for a minute and refitting will reset the whole car and do no harm, give it a go but I fear you may have a underlying problem.

I concur based on what I have been reading. But it would be nice to close the window for the night, until I can get to Volvo.

I am hearing some strange things about this combination of issues.
