Driving home last night, put on right turn signal. The Green Signal indicator arrow on the gauge cluster stayed on, illuminated green, not blinking.

Turned off car when I got home, and restarted, Right Arrow was still Illuminated Green and not flashing.

Any idea what this means? Does this mean that one of my right blinker bulbs is burned out on the Passenger side of the car?

Neither directional signal will work right now.

Maybe it's a blinker switch located in the electrical boxes under the hood?

Thanks for any help / advice you can offer.

 On my S80 T6., when a blub is out it so states on the message center and also tells which one....
Have someone check in the rear and front of the car when you use the signals..
One can then know which blub is out....
Can you hear the blinker switch . if so thats not the problem....If not, then that may be the problem...I'am surprised you don't get a message referencing this problem...Good luck in finding...

DAVENY29 - This same problem occurred on my 97.5 S90 just two days ago. I think it is a bad headlight switch. I was just about to replace it and the problem resolved itself. Suddenly the problem is back. I'll post if I find the answer.

Apparently it's a problem with the turn signal bulbs. Just replace the bulbs. Seems common with the S90.

I had the same problem. I replaced all the bulbs with no change. The turn signal relay is in the hazard signal block behind the hazard switch. It's an easy fix. Pull out the hazard switch and replace it with a new one. Probably a fortune from a Volvo dealer. I found mine on ebay for around $20.00.
Also save the little bulb in the hazard switch. It's the same bulb that fits all the other switches, and the radio illumination.

Today I replaced the bad turn signal bulb. The two contact points had fused together causing the "frozen" indicator problem. I had a frozen right-turn arrow and it was the right-side (passenger side) bulb. A $3.00 repair.
