Hello (and great to be a new member of this board)..

I have a 06 xc90 2.5t and my oem scorpions are pretty much wore out. Being I am a performance nut and traded a MB ML55 amg for the XC90 , I am all about handling, accel.. etc etc..I am already shopping for exhaust, ecu, cold air etc..(love turbo btw).. Anyhow, back to my question...I am replacing the tires and I want to know what is the widest tire I can fit on this XC without rubbing. I looked at a 255/60/17 Toyo Proxes ST that looks nice and has aggressive tread patterns as well and will improve handling on both wet and dry surfaces. I am wondering if a 265 width or 275 width will fit in say a 55 series or so? What do you think? I am positve the 255/60/17 will work but I want as wide of a footprint as possible with these new tires..Want the sporty look..I can care less about snow being im in Florida and all we have is asphalt anyhow..Let me know ok..Thanks!! :liebe011:

Not sure what the widest size is that can fit but we run on 255/50/19 on a 19x8 wheel. Looks good and works well, the offset and size is perfect as the whell and tire combo fits flush to the edge of the fender well.

We are considering the H&R spring kit and changing our tires up for a stagerred set up. We like the 19's and will probably go with a 19x8.5 front and 19x10 rear.. And yes I know I have to keep the ratios correct for the AWD. I have done this before.. :thumbsup:
