Greetings all! Now that oil based gasoline has topped $3.50 per gallon where I live, I have been trying to find information on whether or not E85 type fuel can be used in my 2000 C70.

If so, are there any parts that would need to be changed? Any reprogramming of the ECM or other on board computer? E85 is selling for about 60 cents per gallon cheaper and heck, if the IRL biys can use it to make great horse power and run 200 MPH, why can it not be used for our Volvos and help out with lessening oil demands?

Cant just be put in any engine, E85 flexifuel engines that volvo produce in some newer cars have some changes to engine internals, different injection system and other changes that your engine does not have.
E85 is not a cheaper fuel anyway as you get less miles to the gallon with E85 so will prob work out at the same cost as normal gas.
