I have a 2002 s80 t6. The key fob stopped working the other day so I went and got the battery replaced but it didn't fix it. I ck'd the fuses and everything looks good. That night I noticed now my vanity mirrors are out and the sunroof doesn't work. I know from the manual they all seem to be related. Anbody know if there's a reset to the system or is it dealer time?

I take it your central locking still works off the key?. If so your problem may be to do with your UEM upper electronic module (your rear view mirror!) This is the computer that picks up your remote reception and controls your sunroof. The module could be at fault but more likely a feed (poss fuse) or earth or other wiring fault the cause. There is no reset apart from disconnecting the car battery and giving it a minute before refitting, thats a long shot. Also you could quickly check that the connector feeding the UEM that is behind the left hand 'A' pillar trim is fully connected/at home. If you have no luck then dealership prob the way to go.

My car did the same thing. I think this should fix you up. Try it both ways:

Car off cycle between pressing the lock and unlock button on the remote off and on. If this does nothing put the key in the switch and turn to on but not started and cycle the remote between lock and unlock. Somehow it wakes up the sensor.

Mine went out during a huge thunderstorm. Volvo corporate no help, dealership tech told me what to do. I hope this helps. If not call dealer and ask service rep.

My key fob works on locking/unlocking all doors except the driver side door. It makes a clicking sound but the lock won't work. I have to use the key to lock/unlock the door. any ideas on how to fix this? I have 1999 s80....

if your electric window on the door that does not lock/unlock still works then you prob have a fault with your door lock assembly on that door. New one will fix.
