Just joined the forum......We are looking into buying a 07 V50 T5 wagon. This will be our first Volvo. I'm wondering what might be some of the things we should look for when buying...? And is the T5 AWD worth it or is the T5 FWD just as good..? We don't get much snow or ice here....any suggestions or pointers would be much appreciated....thx....

If you do not have to deal with snow or icy roads, I wouldn't worry about the AWD. I made the mistake of passing on the AWD and live in WI. Bad Decision! The car handles extremely poorly in snow even with brand new tires. I really wish I would have sprung for the AWD.

Well we got a really good deal for a 2007 T5...$24000.00 with 12000 miles...At least that seems like a good price.....We'll pick it up tomorrow....
