My alarm went off twice the other night for no apparent reason.now when i first turn on my ignition it says on the dash my "alarm needs servicing" although i have no messages in the dashboard compuer,its only when i first turn it on.Never heard of an alarm needing servicing is this just another way to get money out of me as the alarm has not gone off since?

No it means there is a fault with your alarm (it went off twice in the night).
