My ipod adaptor just stopped working. My radio does not give me the option to use the "cd changer" any longer. When I plug the ipod in it lights up, which I think indicates that it is getting power.

Anyone have an thoughts on where the problem could be? I'd hate to have to take it in to the deal for them to fix. That would probably cost as much as the adapter did.

I had the exact same problem with my Volvo 2006 and my ipod nano. I had the dealer look at it and they later informed me that problem could not be fixed and were going to refund the adapter installation. I was told that Volvo and Apple no longer have an agreement and because the Ipod had downloaded a new software version which is no longer compatible with the adapter.
I hope there's someone in this forum that has a solution or knowledge of any upcoming software patches.
I tested my ipod in a Bmw and it worked fine!!! <_<

Unplug the din cable on the Ipod adaptor (usually located in the boot or where CD changer is. Re-plug.

I followed poopbunny's advice and unplugged the din cable and it began working like new.

Don't understand about Volvo and Apple not having an agreement any longer. Volvo still lists the adapters on their website as an option.
