wipers stopped working today. "flicked" them as i was stopped to get the ice off them, a common move here in buffalo. after that they no longer work.

i checked the fuse, still good. the wipers move freely, and you can see the mechanism that connects them still moves, so I am assuming it's still fine. while the car is off you can hear the motor (i believe) trying to move them.

I'm assuming they are off track. whats the best way to check and/or put them back on track?
