Hey people.
I have a 2000 C70 and want to buy a diagnostic interface.
Are there good software to access ALL ECU's and DTC's?
I don't want one where you can access only this and that.
Only drawback, it has to be cheap:)
How is this for instance?

But i would prefere to use software + laptop.
Also, what is the difference between the diagnostic interface volvo originally uses and the ones we buy? Do they get more information ?

Regards
Raptor

This tool will only read obd11 diagnostics relating to emissions and engine management it will not read abs or airbag for example. It will also not allow you to scroll through "rolling values" or live data. If you want a bit kit that will do everything I think you will find the kit you want will be expensive.
I have used similar kit to the one you are looking at and they are quite handy for engine related fault code reading/erasing a broad band of cars cheaply but only give limited diagnosis.

Oh and volvo vida gives far more info, activations, and diagnostics than this tool.

Cool mate. Thanks for the answer.
Which tool would you recommend then?
How do i know if a scan tool only does engine or all control modules?
