Hi

How do l know if l have a problem involving a defective ETM before l purchase a V70 2001 Volvo.

Is there a way that l can tell if l'm headed down the dark side. I just read a class action suit against Volvo regarding the ETM's.

What gives and does this apply to all Volvo's??????

It mostly applies to the cars from 1999 to 2002.The easiest way to tell is if the idle jumps up and down.Most of the time a good cleaning before it gets to bad will work.Also if there is a ton of codes for the throttle body most likely it is bad.
