I hope some of you guys can help me with my stuttering 440 ,when cold,any art of giving throttle it stutters like is running on 3 cyclinders,after its gets warmer then it runs better ,when warmed up it stutters when the turbo gauge comes in the yellow area, have changed both ECU´s ,thermostat,the wastegate unit and the plunger to the turbo,the air controll unit ,and been on head bangin what the problem could be, opps the TDC unit is also changed ,If you guys have any idea would be very happy , its a 89, 440 turbo and has 98000 km on it ,,just getting broke in, :liebe011: :liebe011:

have you pulled the engine codes, could it be the oxygen sensor, or the air meter, or even a blocked vacuum hose>

On the 89 Volvo there is no Diag Hookup to read the codes out, and yes i was at the shop and they tested my oxygen sensor,Air meter ? are you talkin about that piece that hooks up to the air cleaner with a cable hookup ,if you have any more ideas would be gratefull

on the old volvos there is a little black box at the back of the air filter, this is the code reader for these cars, there is a link somewhere here how to use it, basically you connect the wire to one of the sockets and you can read a code indicated by a number of flashes on the led. do a search on the forums here for code reader and I think you should find it a ways back a bit.
