I have a 2000 1.9L Turbo, I was wondering what kind of alternator this thing has in it. I was reading about other people having 120amp alts. but they were not the same engine/year.

I'm pretty big into the car audio thing right now and I'm looking to see how far I can push my alternator before I need to look into high output alternators.

If anyone has questions about an audio I might be able to help you with sizing and installation. I've pretty much gutted my car of seats and carpeting to install my last setup.

I have no idea what power I am getting from my alternator but it is definately sufficient to drive the 3 amps and AV system in my car although I have changed the headlamps to HID to reduce the current drawn by the headlamps so I have more that I can use for the audio.
