Hi guys,
I have a slight prob with the spare car, It failed the MOT on the CO2 emishions. The engine is running rich which I thought would be an easy thing to sort out.
As its the spare car I have the other one running fine and on the road, so have been switching parts between the road car to the spare car.
So far I have switched: the injection bar, the main computer, the air flow meter, the idle flow valve, the idle control sensor, the thermal sensor, the O2 sensor and the coil.
The spare car is still running rich and the road car is still running fine!
What am I missing?

blocked air filter? restricted air intake, split in the hoses, blocked vacuum hose to the air meter (had that one myself a couple of months ago, there is a little restrictor at the injector end of that hose, it has a very small hole, if it blocks the air meter doesnt work,
if I think of any more I'll let you know, make sure all those hoses are clear and dont leak any
