Hello all, I just bought an 02 s40. As far as i know in the u.s. you could only get a 1.9 t engine. I cant figure out what type of turbo they came with, I assume the t2 but was hoping someone could clarify. Thanks. cheers

Drives: S40 T4 V-reg

In the U.S. your car is a 1.9T but in the UK the same car is known as the 2.0T. They are fitted with a mitsubishi 12T turbo. The T4 that was never available in the U.S. came with the larger 14T turbo and another 40bhp.

Get over to www.s40concepts.net as there are loads of people tuning S/V40s there and its an american based forum.
