I was just wondering how often owners power their convertible hoods up and down, and whether anyone has had any problems with theirs.

I would imagine repairing a worn out hood mechanism would prove very expensive, but I don't want to worry every time I power my hood up and down.

I use mine (2001 w/ one top replacement a year ago) at least once a day for my drive to and from the commuter train station. Depending on the weather and my mood, it could be both ways. Been keeping an eye on the softtop for wear and lube for the joints. So far so good. :beer:
