My wagon has been sitting for a couple of years. It stopped after running fine, but I was just driving it to keep it running due to sitting long periods of time.

It may have stopped due to fuel or electrical issues, but I first need to clean fuel system before even trying to start it.

How do I access tank to drain it, put in clean gas, then drain again. I tried to siphon, but was unsuccessful, so I'll try to go through pump hole. Is there a trick to removing carpet in cargo area?

Any ideas?

thanks
Don

hello,
i had the same problem with my 89 740 turbo, there are about 4 bolts holding it up, at least on mine there was, get you a repair manual from autozone or half.com, it will walok you through it. also you may want to call some local car part stores or mechanics and see if there is some where close where they are able to clean them with a special chemical, i had this done with mine ran be about 100 dollars, a bloody knuckle, and hour or so of labor. i also replaced both of my fuel pumps along with the fuel filter. i know this wasn't much but hopefully it will at least send ya in the right direction

justin
