:( Just nipped out in my 440 1.8 es to drop something off and used Fob to lock car. Came back and Fob did not work. Key still opertated central locking , however could not start car and red immobiliser light came on.

Car battery seems fine. Could this be due to the Fob battery going flat and leaving car in immobilised state. I assume the key only operates central locking and not the immobiliser .

I am new to Volvo have no manual to consult so help as my motor is now stuck miles from home Please HELP !!!. :(

Yahoo got it going again

Got it going after a wee bit of advice. Removed the batteries, pressed the buttons for 5-10 seconds , refitted batteries and then "Bobs your fathers brother!!, re-set and rairing to go. Was also told mobile phones can interfere with them and I had place my mobile in the pocket with it minutes before.
