Was looking for a Cabin filter and the one for my S60 is part #30676419

But I have found some good prices for part #30630755 and it would appear to be the larger ecc filter - is this just a newer or older part number or is it different in some way?

I can tell you that the filter for your car 30676419 is for up to 2004 model year and
the other filter 30630755 is for a 2004 on car. Both filters are listed as for E.C.C. but 30630755 listed as for use with IAQS (inlet air quality sensor). The housings that the filters go into between 2001 and the later version (2004 on) are also different part numbers so housing may be different.

Having said all this I think it may fit, but I cannot be sure.

Thanks for that raydar - I'm not sure if I have the IAQS on my car although it does have auto/manual air recirculation so wouldn't it need to have the sensor for the auto recirculation to work ? (I don't know)

I guess I would be best to stick to the one listed (30676419)

I have tried to look the number up on VADIS but mine only goes up to 2005 and it lists the 30676419 filter for a 2006 S60 with ecc so who knows ?

Just a though though do the newer vehicles use the thinner filter or have they done away with them - perhaps that's the difference in the housings?

I see you guys are in Uk..when you buy the filters even if part numbers correspont to vadis and vida DO NOT buy from euro car parts ..very poorly made replicas from what i seen and used..ended up binning mine minutes after fitting it.
