I just bought a 2000 Volvo S80 T6. My first Volvo. I'm normally a Honda guy, but I wanted something sorta on the luxury side with a little speed still. My questions are, first:

The power door locks on drivers side front and rear doors don't work. They make noise when I hit the lock button, but they don't lock or unlock (but pass side does). What do you think this could be? Where could I get parts? And how much will it probably cost to fix?

Secondly, the Check Engine Light is on (or service light?), and on the little screen on the bottom left of the cluster its says SRS - AIRBAG SERVICE URGENT. Is there a problem with the SRS system, or does it most likely just need to be taken in for a checkup or something?

Um...what does ABS have to do with SRS? I read just making sure I wasn't missing anything, but I do not see any correlaton.

My mistake, I thought I read somewhere that it was related to the Check Engine Light but probably not in this forum. That could be a range of things, get the dealer to pull codes for that.

I remember I did get the SRS message once during some work done when the battery should have been disconnected and it was not. All it required was a dealer reset and the message was gone. There was nothing wrong with the SRS.

There is probably nothing wrong with the SRS. Just get the dealer to reset the code.

Not sure if there are any aftermarket parts for the locks, you might need OEM for those.
